As parent, I want my daughters to grow up the way God wants them to be, that they are proactive and be a disciplined individual. Most importantly, I want them to grow up thinking and be assured that indeed they have each other, they have their parents, their immediate relatives to rely on. I don't want them to rely on just anybody else.
It is so overwhelming to be a parent. I want to be with them every step of the way during their first six years. This is impossible though because I am a working parent. I work 8 hours a day. Sometimes more. But when I am with them, I make sure that we have an enriching activities. Activities that will teach them how to handle realities in their growing up years, activities that will bring us closer to each other and to God. Activities that when I look back I know I did the right thing, that I reap a good harvest.
